Manu Chao gets along
with the Surui

Paleo magic at work. The wildest concert ever attended by the Surui as honoured backstage guests. Later Manu made a privileged visit to the Surui delegation residence, concerned by their fight to save the Amazon, where he underwent a binding tribal ritual of body painting which sealed his alliance with the Forest.

The encounter with Almir's parents, 86 years old Marimop Surui, greatest warrior of the Surui tribe and his wife Weitam.

In the privacy of their Nyon residence, Chief Almir took the opportunity to get better aquainted with Manu and explain their history and ongoing fight to protect the Amazon Forest.
