Aquaverde and the Surui indians Guests of honour
More than thirty years after its first edition, the «Paleo Folk Festival», drew an audience of some 1,800 people in the town assembly rooms in Nyon, Paléo Festival is today one of Europe’s most important musical events.

Each year, more than 120 concerts are on offer to the 227,000 spectators of the public who fill the Festival’s 84-hectare site in Nyon, situated above the town of Nyon.

To this day, more than 4 million people contributed to this popular success that does not weaken.
Since a few years, the Festival posts complete before even to open its doors and benefits from a continually growing notoriety.
In 2008, more than 670 representatives of the media covered a high edition in colors. Dedicated to Brazil, the 2008 Village du Monde was decked out in the colours of the Amazonian Rainforest and vibrating to the rhythms urban sounds.

Aquaverde, together with the Surui indigenous people were guest of honour of the Paleo Festival in 2008 and held a stand at the Village du monde.

All attractions presented had one goal: illustrate biodiversity to raise awareness of the vast heritage we risk to loose with the destruction of the Amazon forest.
